There is a misconception that removing yourself from an abusive relationship, ignoring your abusive childhood or cutting out toxic people is the end of a chapter. Leaving is not healing. Healing is a journey in its own right, and to kick start that you need knowledge of the repercussions of what has happened to you. If you don't know where to even start, if you just know that you are not ok, here is where you begin! We work together to build healing practices, skills and techniques that assist with managing the fallout from abuse, which are essential for creating a safe, healing space so that we can deal with the real, underlying issues. The complete course is separated into three distinct areas: Kickstart, The ABC's and more in the Parking Lot, and finally, the Road to Healing. Here we make sure we are speaking the same language, get to back to basics and reclaim our lives! You will need: Access to data for completing the course work, as well as for your Zoom sessions. To set aside 15-30 minutes a day to complete your tasks. To attend 4, one hour Zoom group sessions and participate in group chats Mindset: The will to be consistent and passionate about finishing the course. Compartmentalise your healing, but make time for it, so that it doesn't take up the space of being present in your daily life. Have an awesome journey, and as always - be at peace not in pieces!
