Defining Abuse

ABUSE IS A COMBINATION OF DEGRADING, DEMEANING, AND DEHUMANIZING BEHAVIOURS

The United Nations defines Human Rights as “rights inherent to all human beings, regardless of race, sex, nationality, ‘ethnicity, language, religion, or any other status.”

We consider sexual assault, rape, harassment, gender-based violence, emotional, psychological, spiritual, physical and verbal assault as human rights violations no matter what the gender, culture, creed, educational level, sexual orientation or financial status of either party.

We are human first and need to treat each other that way.

  • Sexual Violence

  • Psychological, Verbal and Emotional
